Ritter Tours Valley
Gov. Bill Ritter is touring the San Luis Valley today and Saturday, hosting a series of town hall meetings. Ritter's tour kicks off today with a noon town hall meeting at Adams State College's Student Union Building in Alamosa. At 1:30 p.m., Ritter will visit the temporary home for the new Colorado Army National Guard Unit, where he'll speak with guard members and the group Veterans Green Jobs, at 2311 Commerce Circle. At 3 p.m., he goes to San Luis for a town hall at Centennial High School followed by a 5 p.m. town hall at Dos Hermanas Restaurant in Antonito. On Saturday, the governor will host a town hall at 9 a.m. in the Saguache Community Building, 525 7th St. The tour wraps up with an 11:30 a.m. town hall with veterans and community members at the Colorado State Veterans Center at Homelake near Monte Vista. The center's address is 3749 Sherman Ave.
